I'm currently running the 'Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008' threshold file against my DB perfmon output.
All seems fine until I get the following error when 'Network Interface % Network Utilization Sent' is being processed:
At E:\Program Files\PAL\PAL\PAL.ps1:3370 char:22
Invoke-Expression : The variable '$b' cannot be retrieved because it has not been set.
- Invoke-Expression <<<< -Command $sCode
- CategoryInfo : InvalidOperation: (b:Token) [Invoke-Expression],
- FullyQualifiedErrorId : VariableIsUndefined,Microsoft.PowerShell.Command
I've checked line 3370, and it's calling the $sCode command. I've checked the threshold files, and the 'Network Interface % Network Utilization Sent' value is being inherited from QuickSystemOverview.xml into the SQLServer.xml file I'm using. I guess this is
an issue with QuickSystemOverview.xml? It's happened on exactly the same counter when reading in a file from a separate server. Has anyone else experienced similar?
