PAL v2.0 - Error when Executing File Analysis

Mar 8, 2010 at 10:41 AM

Hi All,

I have just installed the latest version of PAL v2.0 on my 64bit Windows 7 Machine.  PAL v1.3.6 worked great, however after successfully installing v2.0, When I load in a Perfmon trace and start executing I receive the following error;

Invoke-Expression : Cannot bind argument to parameter 'Command' because it is an empty string.

At C:\Program Files\PAL\PAL v2.0 Alpha 4\PAL.ps1:614 char:46

+     $RelogOutput = Invoke-Expression -Command <<<<  $sCommand

    + CategoryInfo          : InvalidData: (:) [Invoke-Expression], ParentCont

   ainsErrorRecordException

    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : ParameterArgumentValidationErrorEmptyStringNotAl

   lowed,Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.InvokeExpressionCommand

Could anyone please advise as to where the issue may lie? - I am not proficient at all using Windows Powershell so any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance

Are you running PowerShell v2.0?

Are you able to run Relog.exe from the command prompt? It is part of the operating system.

I get the same thing happening on Windows 7  Powershell v2.0.

I can run relog.exe from the command prompt.
