Total Script Execution Time: -74722 seconds(s)

description

Hi,

I work on large files, the execution time is many hours, and I got this display at the end: Total Script Execution Time: -74722 seconds(s) after displaying the HTML file.

Its not a big issue.

Thanks,
Cheers
Ferenc

No response in months, so assuming this is resolved by the AMD processor fix.

The negative value might have been caused due to the AMD processor calculation drift issue. Check out my blog on this issue at:

Large files are typically not a problem to parse. PAL runs them through Relog.exe to reduce their size. The part that typically takes the longest is when there is a high number of counters in the log file. Also, if you use the ALL analysis interval, then it will take a long time to analyze because it will analyze every data point. Consider using the AUTO analysis interval which breaks the log up into 30 time slices. AUTO doesn't miss anything because MIN or MAX values of that time slice are included in many of the thresholds.
