Determining Process by Process ID

I'm trying to use the PAL tool (great work!); however, I'm encountering a problem regarding counters for multiple processes, such as W3WP.exe.

If I have stats for 3 W3WP processes - each one is tied to a specific application pool - how do I determine which Process in the report is related to the process on the server?

In other words - how do I know that the results for Process(w3wp) is tied to the w3wp.exe process with ID #1549 on the server, instead of the w3wp.exe process with ID #3638 on the server?

This is the one item that is confusing me when I'm trying to analyze performance on a web server.  Any information will be greatly appreciated!

You need to use the "\Process(*)\ID Process" counter using the same counter instance to get the Process ID (PID). On IIS6, you can identify the application pool associated with it by running "CScript C:\Windows\System32\iisapp.vbs" without the double quotes.
