Failure to parse CSV perflog with PAL and bling

Nov 24, 2009 at 10:40 PM

I've been using the same perflog template to log/create counter log files. But recently had failures. Using PAL, it fails to generate report at some point during processing saying the specified counter can not be found. I don't have the error message with me. I'll post when I do next time.

So I tried bling.ps1 instead and that also give error. See message below. However, I did a quick test and am able to load the perflog into PerfMon for analysis. Not sure what's wrong with the perflog file that causes it to fail with PAL and bling. If needed, maybe I can post a copy of the log file for download and analysis.

That is an odd error that I haven't seen before. Can you send me the perfmon log at clinth@microsoft.com?
