i have the problem that when i have an installation of Pal on my computer and when there is an update out. i install this update. but when i start pal it shows me the old Pal version. so i have to delete pal first then install the new version?

i had this issue also on win 7 x64. now on win8 x64.

maybe its by design?

I have the installer set to remove previous versions during install, but I just tried to update my computer from 2.3.2. to 2.3.3, but it didn't update just like you mentioned. I guess the only real way is to uninstall the old version first.
