date/ time range restriction error

When trying to select the option to 'restrict to a date/time range' the begin/ end times fail to populate, and give the status message "an error occurred retrieving time range from counter log using relog.exe from command line.

If I manually input the begin and end times, PAL will work correctly.  If I try relog.exe from a command line it does correctly list the start and end times from the BLG.  Also, the relog.exe output looks to be the same on files that work and that fail in PAL.

Any thoughts on why this sometimes fails?

Have you tried this with the latest version v2.3.2? I fixed some problems with this.

hmm... the PAL Wizard is simply using Relog.exe in the background to get the begin and end times of the log. Can you send me the counter log? My email address is clinth@microsoft.com.
