Issue Parsing perflog of SQLServer.Databases(*)\*

Oct 13, 2010 at 2:32 PM

I am relatively new to the windows performance logs and PAL so I apologize if this is a problem on my end.  I have created performance logs in the SQLServer.Databases(*)\* and WebServices(*)\* counter and when I try to parse either of the generated logs with PAL v2.0 I am getting:

Property 'Count' cannot be found on this object. MakeAt C:\Program Files\PAL\PAL v2.0.4\PAL.ps1:4381 char:4+         For ($t=0;$t -lt $alQuantizedTime. <<<< Coun    + CategoryInfo          : InvalidOperation: (.:Ope   ntainsErrorRecordException    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : PropertyNotFoundStrict

This is with the 64-bit version of PAL v2.0.4

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know what could cause this. Can you provide the PAL.log file at %temp%\pal.log?

I read this new and I have exactly the same behavior with my CSV perfolg but concerning one of my IIS server.

I shall be glad if you have some idea.

I provide you my pal.log below

It looks like PAL failed to match up counters in the threshold file with counters in the counter log. This commonly happens when running PAL on a non-English US locale. Are you running with an English US locale?

Hello, it's look That I'm not With an "english us local" and now I don't have the possibility to correct this. If I have to use PAL in the future, I 'll set it in "english us local"
THanks for all
