NTDS Missing from Active Directory PAL Reports

The NTDS section is missing from 2 of the 4 reports I ran on our 4 DCs. The perfmon files were created with the exact same template that was generated from PAL 2.0_x64.

What I discovered is that the counters in question in the Active Directory Perfmon template are:
   <Counter>\NTDS\AB Client Sessions</Counter>
    <Counter>\NTDS\DRA Pending Replication Operations</Counter>
    <Counter>\NTDS\DRA Pending Replication Synchronizations</Counter>
    <Counter>\NTDS\Kerberos Authentications</Counter>
    <Counter>\NTDS\LDAP Active Threads</Counter>
    <Counter>\NTDS\LDAP Bind Time</Counter>
    <Counter>\NTDS\LDAP Client Sessions</Counter>
    <Counter>\NTDS\LDAP Searches/sec</Counter>

But on 2 of my 4 DCs, there are no NTDS counters at all, but there are Directory Services/NTDS counters with the same counter options that work on those 2 systems:

Counter>\DirectoryServices(NTDS)\AB Client Sessions</Counter>
  <Counter>\DirectoryServices(NTDS)\DRA Pending Replication Operations</Counter>
  <Counter>\DirectoryServices(NTDS)\DRA Pending Replication Synchronizations</Counter>
  <Counter>\DirectoryServices(NTDS)\LDAP Active Threads</Counter>
  <Counter>\DirectoryServices(NTDS)\LDAP Bind Time</Counter>
  <Counter>\DirectoryServices(NTDS)\LDAP Client Sessions</Counter>
  <Counter>\DirectoryServices(NTDS)\LDAP Searches/sec</Counter>

Any insights would be appreciated. In addition, none of my systems have the Kerberos Authentications counter. These are Windows 2008 DCs.

Thanks,
